Fairfield Warehouse: Barrel Wrapping Volunteer Project 2025
The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is looking for volunteers who are willing to help us prepare our food drive barrels for the upcoming season. Volunteers are needed to unwrap and rewrap our donation barrels. This position does require frequent bending and the ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Volunteer Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- All volunteers must be scheduled.
- Masks and gloves are optional to use during the volunteer shift.
- If you sign up for a shift that you cannot attend, please log into your account and remove yourself so that someone else can sign up to help us.
- All volunteers must wear a nametag and closed-toed shoes.
- The warehouse temperature can vary so volunteers should dress accordingly; we recommend volunteers dress in layers.
- Individuals needing court-ordered community service MUST complete the court-ordered community service request online and be accepted prior to signing up for a shift.
- You will need to bend and lift barrels weighing up to 15 lbs.
