Family Food Sort
We appreciate all of the volunteers who participate in our Family Food Sort Days and the difference it makes in our communities.
Individual families with children between the ages of 5-10 are invited to a family volunteer opportunity on special days in both Food Bank warehouses! Families will bag fresh produce for the Community Produce Program. We will screen your application and contact you to confirm your reservation. Everyone in your application must be from the same household and must be able to work in close proximity to one another in order to be approved.
Earth Day
Celebrate globally by serving our community locally! Please join the Food Bank on Sunday, April 21, 2024, for our Earth Day Family Food Sort. Families with children as young as five years old are invited to learn about our green initiatives and “Volunteer to Improve the Environment'' by bagging fresh produce at our warehouse for our food distribution programs.
These shifts are specifically geared to include families with children between the ages of 5 - 10.
