Nourish Gala Volunteer 2022

The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is looking for volunteers to assist our Events Team during the 2022 Nourish Gala! We are currently recruiting volunteers to help us with the event on Thursday, May 19, 2022. If the below responsibilities and qualifications describe you, please fill out the application below!

This volunteer position does require the ability to lift approximately 10 lbs to waist-high level, repeated bending, and the ability to stand for the duration of the shift. The event will be held outdoors so please plan for the weather. Court-ordered volunteers are not permitted to sign up for this opportunity. 

Volunteer Job Functions and Responsibilities: 
  • Set up crew 12:30 - 2:30 PM or 3-5 PM 
    • Event set-up
    • Decorating the venue
  • Event crew 5:00 - 10:00 PM 
    • Greeting and directing guests
    • Passing out gift items and food
    • Helping us take photos of our guests and the event
